Username search across 99 top sites
Type a handle and the sites people actually use are checked at once, from Instagram and TikTok to Cash App and GitHub. Every account found is confirmed against the exact name you typed.
How a search works
The top of each profile
Each account found comes back as a card with its photo, banner, name and follower counts. The card also counts what else the profile shows, such as its bio, location, join date and links, which Seer opens.
Confirmed, not guessed
Most username checkers call a name taken when a page loads. Here an account counts only when its profile names the exact handle, so a redirect, a search page or a login wall is never reported as one.
Public pages only
The check sees what a logged-out visitor would see. Nothing signs in and nothing is posted, and the person whose name you search is not told.

Questions
How do I search for a username?
Type the handle into the box and press Search. Every site on the list is checked at once, and each account appears as a profile card as its site answers, usually within fifteen seconds.
Is this username search free?
Yes. There is no account to create and nothing to pay. Each visitor has a generous number of searches that refills over a few minutes, which keeps the sites we check from blocking us.
How do you know an account belongs to the username?
A result is shown only when the site’s own profile names the exact handle you searched, for example in its canonical address or its profile data. A page that merely loads is not counted, which is where most username checkers get their false positives.
Does “not found” mean the username is available?
Usually, but not always. A site can reserve a name, keep a deleted account’s handle, or hide profiles from logged-out visitors. Try registering it to be sure.
Which sites do you check?
The 99 platforms people use most, from Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat to Cash App, Venmo, Steam and GitHub. The full list is on the Sites page. Seer searches more than 700.
Can I search an email address or phone number instead?
Not here. Seer, which makes this tool, searches email addresses, phone numbers and breach records as well as usernames.
